Flavours Catering is based in Kerikeri, Bay of Islands and caters weddings and functions in Northland from Cape Reinga to the Whangarei area. With our Fully-Equipped Mobile Kitchen we have the ability to work at any location, be it a Beach, Vineyard, Farm, Park, Business or Private Home.
Flavours Catering is operated and managed by Julia Gerdan as owner and Executive Chef. Julia's love affair with food has taken her all over the globe, and her over 30 years of experience as a chef and caterer gave her the opportunity to create wonderful dishes, which were enjoyed by many. As a private chef she has prepared food for international celebrities on several occasions. She received her classical training at the Culinary Institute of New Zealand, where she achieved both NZQA & International City & Guilds Qualifications.
Flavours Catering can create innovative and delicious food at any venue of your choice. We are renowned for our tasty Mediterranean Dishes, Tapas, Canapes and our stunning and delicious Wedding Cakes. Although, we specialize in Mediterranean Food, with its vibrant and bold flavours, we also have the skills and expertise to prepare Formal & Informal Menus of most other cuisines, such as French, Mexican or Kiwi-Fusion. We use free-range eggs and fresh ingredients of the region whenever possible.
